This SL500 was acquired by the seller in March 2020 via importation from Japan. On import to Vancouver the seller had the vehicle fully inspected and serviced, including an obligatory safety inspection, prior to driving the vehicle to his home in Edmonton, Alberta. The seller reports the factory hard-top is fully functioning and in good working order. This SL500 is now offered with service records, factory literature and a clean Alberta title.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via 5.0-liter SOCH 24-valve V-8. The SL500’s motor is mated to a sporty 5-speed automatic transmission with semi-manual mode. The seller also notes this particular car features a professionally installed $6,000 hydraulic suspension system, new battery and that all maintenance and service are up to date.
The exterior on this Mercedes Benz is finished in factory white paint and the car features an upgraded suspension system which highlights the 19” AMG wheels wearing newly purchased tires. The wheels show some minor wear and scuffs as pictured in the gallery.
The two-passenger cabin is upholstered in black leather with matching dark grey carpet and floormats, all accented by wood and aluminum trim. Amenities include heated front seats, air conditioning and a factory stereo system. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 260km/hr speedometer, a 6,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The six-digit odometer shows just over 70k kilometres, approximately 2,000 of which were added by the seller.
